OVERVIEW OF THE POST

The Human Resources Administrator reports and works directly with the
Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Administrator will also
work with all departments across the service in their day-to-day role.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Human Resources
Team, delivering the full range of HR supports across the service.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Human Resources Manager in delivering on HR programmes of
work by:?

* Using HRIS updating staff file, analysing reports for workforce,
roster and payroll purposes
* Supporting Finance Manager for payroll purpose (when required)
* Managing recruitment and selection process ? advertising through
to interview
* Manage the on-boarding process of new staff, from interview to
contract signing
* Coordinating and arranging staff induction schedule ?
* Coordinating delivery of on-going staff training?
* Managing the leaver process
* Creating and update all Staff Personnel files
* Maintaining the leave management database up to date.?
* Updating all staff files in accordance with St. Margaret?s
policy, procedure and GDPR
* Issuing relevant correspondence to staff members
* Drafting and checking HR information and documents, for
circulation and ensuring relevant ?policies and procedures are
referenced.?
* Diary management: appointments, interviews, meetings
* Minute taking at meetings
* Archiving, Scanning, and filing all HR related data.
* Any other duties that may, from time to time be required in the
full discharge of your role.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE

?THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

* A minimum of 2 years? proven experience in a similar role in
Human Resources
* Good understanding of the HR practices
* High level of verbal and written communication skills

QUALIFICATION(S):

* Hold a recognised qualification in Human Resources/Business or
relevant field?

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

* Good knowledge of operational HR processes and practices.
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills ?
* Willing to flexible respond to ensure the HR Department meets its
deadlines
* Excellent IT Skills

PARTICULARS OF OFFICE

The appointment is permanent and pensionable.

The HR Admin will perform the role and responsibilities of the post
outlined in the Job Description and assume any other responsibilities
that are applicable to the full discharge of the post.

* PROBATION:

Upon appointment, the Human Resources Administrator will complete a
probationary period of 6 months during which their suitability to the
post will be monitored. At the end of the probationary period the
service will (a) be certified as satisfactory and confirmed in writing
or (b) if not satisfactory, the probationary period may be extended by
3 months. Where, after this extension, the probationary reviews are
not successfully sighed off, ?employment with St. Margaret?s
?shall be terminated. The Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Act

* TRAINING, EDUCATION & LEARNING?

St. Margaret?s recognises that continuous learning and development
is required in the changing and reconfiguration of roles in an
ever-changing work environment. To this end, St. Margaret?s may

learning relevant to their changing role and responsibilities. St.
Margaret?s also encourages its staff to develop their knowledge and
skills and enhance their professional qualifications. To this end St.
Margaret?s provides a number of scholarship supports through
bursaries and/or interest free education loans each year.?

* PENSION:?

Joining the Pension Scheme will be within the regulations and signed
off by the Finance Manager. Pension contributions: 7% Employer and

The Human Resources Administrator will participate in their Annual
Review which will be led by the Person Support Manager?

agencies /suppliers/funders or other information related to the
services business. Such records and information are strictly
confidential and, unless acting on the instruction of an authorised

discussed except in the performance of normal duty. In addition,
records must never be left in such a manner that unauthorised persons
can obtain access to them and must be kept in safe custody when no
longer required.
